To be or not to be?

This is how we try to find God’s Will:

Is something “meant to be” or not useful?

When we talk about God’s Will, we mean “beneficial for all” or “the best possible result.”

In consideration toward others, objective analysis, and self-introspection, we can easily find the answer.

But still we’re stuck asking ourselves this question, in our day-to-day life, about each and every decision.

“A God-realised soul is he who wants to please God in God’s own Way.”1

Some people say that we have no free will. It is true that we are ruled at times by our lower nature, which is predictable and earthbound.

But I prefer to think that if we are destined to eat popsicles, we will have a choice between strawberry and watermelon (that was a joke).

In the end, we can only do our best and offer the result to God.

As Sri Krishna said to Arjuna, “You have the right to act, but claim not the fruit.”

This gives us the freedom to follow our feeling, which is the only way to learn and grow.

And as Sri Chinmoy said, “Failures are the pillars of success.”2
